Royal Wedding!!

The wedding was crazy busy! It was so fun to be apart of and it was packed everywhere! Here are a few pictures that I took.  I have more, but the internet is slow here and it is hard to load pictures, so this is what I have for now:) Hope you enjoy them!
People walking to Westminster
Police in the park
Two ladies I met.  They were so nice and shared croissants!

Buckingham Palace after the Ceremony.  Right to the left of that pole is where the police let people through a gate as organized as possible.  They lined the road with police and let people fill behind them as they herded us to the front.
Police that we walked behind.

Some of the media around the statue around Buckingham Palace! It was so crazy busy!

That green building back there is not normally there.  They built that the last couple of days and just made it for all of the news stations to be in!

That's where I was when the royalty came out and Prince William and Kate kissed! I was so close and could totally see all of them! My camera didn't take this picture well, but I could see the royal family:)

Delays.... and Then London!!!

So I was supposed to leave snowy Utah at 12:46, but got delayed until 2.  We then flew to Dallas.  I sat next to a nice lady who has a son who just finished dental school.  It is so crazy how things like that always happen.  We then were delayed another hour in the airport.
So I took a picture in front of this thing by the terminal haha(I don't know what it is)
When we had finally boarded, we sat on the plane for another 2 hours due to mechanical problems. It was no big deal though because the couple next to me were so funny to talk to, especially with their accents.  I had a great seat too, with tons of leg room.  The nine hours wasn't so bad.

We finally got in London around 1pm (6am Utah time) and it was four hours later than originally planned.  I was glad I was with a group from our group so that we could have a taxi pick us up and it was about the same price as the tube, but so much easier and more direct.
It was so cool to see them on the opposite side of the car/street too!

We got to the center and I had to take my luggage to the top/5th floor by stairs.  Right after I saw Natalie and Sister Warner dropping off Sam and her mom.  It was fun to see familiar faces here! They were in Paris all last week and came to London right as Austin got to Paris. So they barely missed him.

Diana Fountain(Our first little orientation walk)
We then went on our little welcoming activity walk around Kenzington Garden checking out and familiarizing ourselves with the area.  It was fun, but we were so tired that we just wanted to get through it.  It was a great first day and I feel all settled in and unpacked:) The teachers all seem so cool! I am excited for these next 6 weeks! The london center is so cool too.

La Jolla Groves and Packing for London

Went to La Jolla Groves for dinner with the family before I leave for London... for Charlottes early graduation dinner. So good!

Austin called us from the SLC airport before leaving for France! He gets to call again in two weeks! We are both going to be in Europe this week!

Michelle and Katie came over to chill and laugh haha.

Well gotta go finish packing...
